we have stayed at the royal hotel several times during the last 2 years, it is a work in progress but the new owners are spending a lot of time and money improving and upgrading the hotel
it still has its faults, but its such good value for money, the staff are all very friendly, the atmosphere is always calm and relaxed and John the head chef always provides the most delicious meals
its simply excellent value for money

were given a room that looked on to four wall aith views into other room. room was musty and unclean, beds were knackered and tv from the 20s. on the up side the breakfast is yum but lacks variety in healthy options
