Currency Point in both Birmingham and Slough have closed their shop fronts. They have taken substantial sums from customers wishing to transfer money to Pakistan but have failed to forward the monies to their agents in Pakistan.

A notice pinned outside their shops inform customers who wish to obtain a refund to write to the following address:

P.S.O Department, Kemp House, 152-160 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. Documentation, such as Bank account details are requested to be included too. Please note that this address has turned out to be mail forwarding address.

What Currency Point do not understand is that many people sent money to their relatives for Eid and for charity. They have effectively robbed not only their customers here in the UK but also the poor and needy in Pakistan. May Allah punish the dishonest and reward the righteous.

Currency Point is currently under investigation by both Slough Trading Standards and the Police. Avoid this company at all costs.
